Veteran Dining Room Manager Sandy Pitsch (a.k.a. Chef Hilary’s Mom) relocated to Alanta from her native Ohio to open The Hil restaurant. She describes the opportunity to work with her family in this venture as a dream come true.
With more than 20 years experience in the restaurant business, Sandy brings tremendous talent to The Hil. She is known for her warm, friendly demeanor and takes seriously the task of making each guest feel like family at The Hil. Sharing this philosophy is the team of service professionals she skillfully directs.
Sandy is an avid gardner, enjoys reading and takes great pride in her family, which includes four grandchildren who live in Colorado and Ohio. Though humble about her own cooking abilities, Chef Hilary often credits Sandy on the menu at The Hil when her mom’s cooking has inspired special dishes.
